(“MARKETING OPTIONS GALORE!!”) The Wageman family is offering you approximately 114.16 acres M/L that literally is right across the road from the Merrill ethanol plant and only ¼ of a mile from the North boundary of the city of Merrill itself. Very seldom can you find a farm like this that is located so centrally between almost every marketing option you could ask for. Besides the luxury of the ethanol plant, it is located in the heart of Plymouth County’s hog feeding, cattle feeding operations, dairies, as well as super local elevators and feed mills. What more could you ever ask for? It is unbelievably awesome!
The Plymouth County FSA office shows 114 base acres with an 82.30-acre corn base with a 151-bu. PLC Yield Index and a 31.7-acre soybean base with a 44-bu. PLC Yield Index.
The Plymouth County NRCS & Assessors office shows the main soil types to be Monona with lesser amounts of Ida, McPaul Kennebec. The farm carries a weighted average of CSR II of 64.7. This farm has been farmed by one of the area’s well known and good farm families who are known as excellent caretakers of the land. The layout of the terraces shows that careful conservation practices have been implemented throughout the years.
You can be the best farmer in the world and done everything right to maximize your yields and productivity. However, if all your marketing options aren’t available, you may not receive the best return. Well, that is not the case with this farm, all the options mentioned above and possibly a lot more, come with this farm! Over the years all extras from this farm should yield you super dividends that others may not get. Consider it strongly for your future and I bet you will never be sorry! All the best from all of us at Brock Auction Company.
